We use 14-gauge galvanized
rectangular steel tube construction welded at every joint.
Support posts are placed between washer gaps so as not to
interfere with any service work. All steel is galvanized coated
to withstand the test of time in your coin laundry. Upright
supports are 1" wide to allow easy access to back panel screws |

All copper is
Type "L" and meets all UPC as well as national plumbing codes.
One ball valve per washer inlet on all our bulkheads. All water
lines are installed with adjustable clamps attached to unistrut,
for ease of adjustment in the field. All copper fittings are pro
press fittings clamped to the pipe and sealed with an "O" ring.
All fittings are warranted for 50 years. |

High Mark is
proud to offer AQUAPEX® tubing standard on all bulkheads now.
AQUAPEX tubing is very durable and has a life expectancy of 100
years and is able to withstand harsh chemicals such as chlorine.
It will not corrode, pit or scale like copper tubing. Also this
tubing won't leak toxins into the water like copper. This tubing
also allows us to use our new specially designed valve manifold
to keep the clutter of the bulkheads to a minimum. AQUAPEX
creates a noise-less system and dampens the sound of rushing
water and eliminates water hammer problems. Best of all, AQUAPEX
tubing comes with a 25-year limited warranty when installed by a
Wirsbo-trained professional such as High Mark Manufacturing. |

All electrical
boxes and pipe runs are located at the top of the bulkhead
keeping the center open for easy service access. Wire runs are
continuous from circuit breaker to machines without splices
and/or wire nuts. |
 |
Electrical
outlets are provided for 110-volt plug in type washers. Each
washer has its own individual breaker per manufacturers'
recommendations. |
 |
Electrical
whips are provided for each hard-wired machine. One whip per
machine is provided and is wired continuous back to the circuit
breaker. 208/240-Volt 3-phase or 240-Volt single-phase are
options depending on the electrical requirement needs. |
 |
Circuit
breaker panels can be located at either end of the bulkhead
depending on the feed from your location. The box is positioned
to be flush with your end panel cover. Whips may be installed in
the electrical panel to reduce the amount of pipe runs in your
bulkhead. |
 |
All
electrical components are top of the line name brand components
and carry full warranties. Circuit breakers are sized as per
manufacturers' specifications. |
 |
Circuit
breaker panels can also be located on the top of the bulkhead.
Horizontal-mounted circuit breaker panels allow easy access to
the inside of the bulkhead if one end is obstructed by a wall or
permanently mounted furniture. |
 |
All tops are 3/4" thick waterproof
medex panels. Standard panels consist of a melamine finish fused
to both sides. Standard panels can be either side up. Edging on
all the panels is a PVC-edge band fused to the panel core.
Edgebanding comes in a variety of colors. |
 |
Upgrading to
a high-pressure laminate is an option. High-pressure laminate
comes in a variety of colors. End panel access doors are an
option for ease of maintenance. Access doors are mounted on a
continuous piano hinge and latched with a keyed lock. |
 |
All top
panels are designed to be located 1" higher than the tallest
washer (including the base). End panels are 4" wider on each
side of the bulkhead to hide the gap between the washing
machines and the bulkhead. End panels are designed to be 1/2"
from the end of the last machine. These are standard dimensions.
All bulkheads are custom built so if you have a different design
in mind please present it prior to placing an order. |
